Sometimes what we do is go to edit (In the accounts section with the HELOC selected) and under visibility hide it from net worth calculations. 

As long as the IRS can track it and see I'm not hiding anything, recording it and paying the appropriate tax, I doubt they would have an issue...  

A little texture helps hide less than perfect walls.

You can't hide behind the lies and need to learn to cope dealing with people and situations without any cover to hide behind.

This syndication is really very difficult for LP man because we throw money to someone in private transaction and the gp can hide everything unlike when we invest into public compay whereas tons of smarter people than me can do the risk analysis in public market.
