There is no 6 month mortgage freeze - landlords need money to may their mortgage, taxes and insurance.2.

I specifically said I have a financial hardship due to Covid-19 and would like a mortgage freeze for 3 months.

I can remember marveling at the bums on the Park benches as a kid .It would be winter time in the early 1980’s and they would be Bundled /wrapped up and just laying around while people would offer them stuff as they passed by .I can still remember asking my mother why would they willingly choose to live in freezing cold climates and suffer through the cold months when you can be a hobo anywhere in the country so Why not go south and be broke there  instead to have an easier life ?

And of course much of this was caused by credit freezing like the South pole.. there were no investor loans..

I personally love the ocean and want to spend winter by the ocean so that would limit the options for me, and I'd want to live far enough south because I don't like it being freezing outside. 

Not all but many tankless hot water heaters have freeze protection add ons that you can buy if its installed outdoors or in an uninsulated closet for something like an RV application so I would check with the manufacturers installation manual and see what their recommendations are.For a traditional hot water storage tank the risk of freezing while not 0 if very very low.

In addition, when the main boiler goes down you have a bunch of angry tenants because this always happens on the weekends when it is freezing.

But hey, they got some nice freeze dried meals for the next 20 years. 

Completely ignorant to the fact that money dries up, credit freezes and people crap down their leg when markets burst. 

My S-8 story: not long after purchasing a 4U property and installing a new boiler I get a call from the legacy S-8 tenant that it's freezing.
