We have a lot properties here in Louisiana that are left when an elderly owner passes and there is no family around.

Earlier this month, they sent a property inspector to one of our properties without telling us beforehand which frightened our elderly tenant when she had a stranger come to her door unexpectedly. 

I've been renting to the same family (elderly couple and their adult daughter) for the last 3 years with no increase.

There's a house a couple streets over from mine where an elderly man lived who was about to lose his house that had years of deferred maintenance and it was bought as a short sale by a slumlord.

He is an elderly man so I doubt he's even up at the hour the trespassers sneak in.

The days of people sending thank you cards, saying please, thank you, and respecting their elders are long gone.  

I think you went above and beyond for the elderly tenant.

It was originally rented to an elderly couple and the husband had passed away in his sleep.

The owner is elderly and his health going down hill so he's planning to move with family out of town.
