I guess I was just scared of being greedy but you all out it into perspective for me.

You're not a rates trader.

It just stinks for I believe most landlords are both fair and respectful to their tenants and as mentioned previously by another poster - people like the landlord in this article give some people the impression all landlords are awful, greedy people.

People are programmed from a young age to believe "money is evil" and "wealthy people are greedy".

as Warren Buffet once said, be greedy when others are fearful, be fearful when others are ready". 

Things like capitalizing the letter i and stuff like that.I am sorry if "i" offended your OCD, but i am too busy running and starting multiple businesses in different industries plus being a full time Engineer and options trader to focus on petty details. 

I think it was Warren Buffet who said, "Be Fearful When Others Are Greedy and Greedy When Others Are Fearful"    Just keep some $s available and when things swing down you will be ready.

THAT's why market minimum mean nothing but opportunity to be the PREFERED units, what better tenants mean, and how to think like a business owner than a swap-meet trader. 

If this is an experienced sponsor with a long track record there may be some language in the contract that is open for interpretation and he/she is taking advantage of it, If it's a new sponsor they may just be greedy.
