My property manager worked with the tenant to get them government relief, but the city sent the funds to the previous owner, this was for all of 2021 through february, so 3 months of rent while I was the actual owner.

The other option would be to pay it off using a portion of your $10K, and just have the relief of having it behind you, and remaining debt free.

Clearly the $150k assessment is WRONG...and you can fight it, and you get some relief...but the assessment will go from $150k to $80k.

it was a mess. we actually had over 100 calls, with about 45-60 showings (or sure felt like it). then i had an epiphany to put the requirements IN THE AD on poslets and the calls dropped to 1 per day. and guess what, people were pre-qualifying themselves. such a relief!
