Having a contract signed by an elderly person with no representation or other party to represent their interests seems like a free ride to jail.

Like @Sam Elder said above, if you can re-fi and have a lower rate than you are paying on your credit cards (which I assume would be the case), it would probably be a good idea to do so.

One of my buildings is more of a lower income area and met with a prospective elderly couple who I think would make a great fit for this perticular apt. they are section 8 tenants.While I am not opposed to Section 8 I'd like to be made aware of Any gotchas and or surprises that may come up from renting to a section 8 tenant.I am aware of inspection of Apt. that takes place but other than that not sure what else to expectthx in advance,Chris

A lot of times you will run into the kids selling a house for their elderly parents.

Buddy of mine who’s been in the VR rental business for 15 years had an elderly woman die of a heart attack while on vacation.

Our  maintenance staff is also available to pick up rents as a convenience to the elderly and sick.

Just when you think you've heard it all....On Easter Sunday one of our elderly tenants was enjoying the good weather and had his front door open.
