It definitely seems to be a good area to have a STR especially if you have a larger house/cabin, exceptional interior design/decor that stands out, hot tub, etc.

It could be the issue with the foundation is non-structural and does not require attention (this could be the case if the "foundation" is for a porch or other decorative feature (chainwall under porch or front of house).
