Are you doing it yourself or hiring a contractor that specializes in it?

I recently purchased a 1500 SF two-story rowhouse in New York with a building class designation of Two Family Dwellings - Brick (B1).

After a little while of this you can slow down and just use the one contractor you have gained a good relationship with and know their numbers on rehabs.

I would be happy to have them move the large storage shed and its whatever contractor provides an acceptable bid rather than city employees doing the work.

I build my list from parcel viewer, then hire a skip trace 40$.

It would be great to compare notes - how do you feel about expanding your search radius or even considering new-build opportunities further inland?

Which ever market you choose build a team and spend time connecting, networking.

It personally took me decades to build up the financial base to get going, but once I did I was able to start making some serious progress on wealth building. 

If there are only 2-3, then investigate and question GC.3) Check with your state's Attorney General's office for any complaints.4) Contact several City Building Depts in the area and ask for list of permits they've pulled.
