I have had houses for sale in Clinton, and had a police officer call me and tell me to remove my signs off city property.

Typical mentality of a state college level student.The only part worse than dealing the the students was dealing with the neighbors who complained about noise, the fire department responding to a burning couch in the back yard and the police for all kinds of nonsense including drunk idiots standing on the roof.

Letting the local school offices and police offices know and offering a discount works well too.

And then watching the place and calling the police if they knock down the signs and trespass.

As I drove my husband to see it the first time we passed all the boarded up 4 plexes that had just been raided by the local police department for tenants dealing drugs out of them, I think a tear came out of my husband's eye.  

If someone else was smoking on the property why didn't she report it to you or the Police - Trespassing.
