Maybe buy one for a dollar, and offer it to a homeless Italian person with a handful of garden seeds and a hammer and a saw (I wonder if Italy has many Homeless People who are not refugees like France has--what a Horrible problem they have in France with this.)Also it's so Odd in America with Section-8 being handed out like Candy to so many, that there are any homeless people in America.

Well, since you delegate dishwashing to your dishwasher, clothes washing to your clothes washer, feather waving to your air conditioner, transportation to your car, hauling ice to your refrigerator, cutting your lawn to your gardener, growing your food to your grocery store, shearing your sheep & weaving your clothes to the clothing store, and so on, it seems to me that you don’t have anything to do with your time already.

In a recent flood where river water rose to 5" above my garage lowest elevation I used a $75 sump pump from The Home Depot connected to it a 5/8" garden hose and dump it into a storm drain (which actually drains back out to the river).

Over time, as more seeds are planted, if I tend the garden well I expect increasing harvests every year.When the harvests are bountiful enough to meet my expenses, plus a fair amount of excess, then that would be a good time to leave the 9 to 5 if I choose to.Not in any hurry, my job is very secure, pays well, and I can do it as long as need be.

As applies to us - we're not fans of huge cities - smaller 'homey' cities are more our vibe - ones that we could invest in yet easily live outside of and have a bit of land for gardening/blacksmithing and general outdoor pursuits.
