HOA liens usually survive and are usually superior to any other liens.

I am currently in pre-licensing at Superior School of Real Estate and plan on buying my first property by June of 2018.

Ultimately you are running a business to make a profit...so you need to be on every platform you can.Having said that, my experience is that VRBO is a superior platform, they don't allow someone to rent a tent in their backyard driveway, a room down the hall or an RV in the driveway.

If it is worth far more than the amount owed there may be another reason such as a superior lien, etc.

Starbucks prefers to be freestanding although occasionally you will find inline in a retail shopping center if location is superior or that's the only space available in the market currently.What outs Starbucks can put into a lease usually determined by quality of your site.

If so, is my lien superior to the IRS' lien or subordinate to it? 

The cool thing about our house is that we built it on a vacant lot in 2017 and used Superior Walls and Modular construction to finish construction in four months while working a full time job and the wife being pregnant with our second child.
