My dad is a handy man and he just helped me fix my unit for free(e.g. renovate an entire bath room, change the electrical outlet covers, fix falling tiles from the other bathroom).

Update: Kitchen is coming along nicely.Read a tip from another BP'er about a usb outlet so I added a 4 port usb charger to backsplash area that has seen constant use, great tip!

So if you have a decent income stream that will allow you to gather strength to buy better "cash flowers" elsewhere, I say hold tight to the ones you love and imagine how much stronger the sales prices will be in a year or two with great appreciation.
