As someone else mentioned, it makes the market look depressed.

One of my dogs passed away in 5/15 and I decided the end of 7/15 that I wanted to get another dog because I was feeling depressed and so was my other dog.

Buyers compete with owner-occupants for bid prices on assets, which from a macroeconomic standpoint inflates prices to levels where the yield is generally non-existent or at the very least is depressed severely.

So what I understand from your post is that:- It has always been a Balloon type of Loan that the Lenders underwrote back in the days which they were able to call when the Great Depression struck the Country?

I would also think this would keep home prices in the area depressed for a few more years.

Why such a horribly negative and depressing comment that also alludes to doing something illegal and going to prison?  

I figured since Michigan is more economically depressed, the loan scale had to be different, and that's where I ultimately found success.

@Brian Bellew Crystal ball is a little fuzzy =/I think anyone who tells you they know anything with any reliable degree of certainty 5 years out is selling something.Generally, it seems the new rules in place will prevent a major depression like the one we just had.  

It all sounds quite depressing.
