If anything the tenant should be trying to work with you to figure something out but they sound super combative...

It's much harder for someone to fraudulently claim a need or abuse the system when it's at the local level.

I wonder if you can sue her in a separate action for costing you money with fraudulent delay tactics.  

I found an article where State attorney sued his previous company and fined up over six figures for fraudulent dealings - I won't go in details to protect the identity. 

Some people have abused "the system" (or lack thereof) resulting in more difficult environments for animals who are actually working for their handler.Here's to hoping that this is the beginning of the tides changing for property owners and the beginning of the end of fraudulent ESAs and the like.See this BBC article.

Hey @Fay ChenSorry to hear about the situation.If you believe that any pertinent facts (like that there will be a pool on one side of your yard every time it rains) were fraudulently misrepresented to you; by all means speak with an attorney. 

It's a different landscape now with so many people fraudulently bringing animals onto and into our properties under the guise of being a service animal.

for the crazy legislation and city action they review and combat on our behalf!

Choose tenants well, there is no rent control so getting rid of problem tenants is easy, and their efforts to combat crime have increased since new developments have started.
