My thinking is that I'm in my 60's and although I have property management experience and am good at it, I would rather not have to deal with repairs in the middle of the night, etc.So, I'd like feedback on this idea:Buy a cheap property, such as an old mobile home on it's own lot (I am allergic to HOAs) for cash.

Conventional wisdom tells me to fit as many bedrooms into a certain square footage as possible; but when touring some of these houses where the bedrooms seem just big enough to fit a bed and not much else, my knee-jerk reaction is to think that nobody in their right mind would want to live in something that small.

Well, drove by the place today and the lawn was nicely mowed, and there was an inflatable kid's pool in the back yard... the letter was sent today, but it look like they are there and taking care of the place-- will see what reaction comes from the letter before assuming anything...
