You really need a few failures and setbacks, not to mention enduring some grinding moments like scraping peeling paint or cleaning toilets before anyone is going to take you serious about developing real estate.

Its interesting how the wealthy are able to move on from a judgement like this without peeling even a dollar out of their pockets, while regular folks sometimes get to spend time in jail for unpaid debts.

Why don't you just load up on more insurance and if the tenant wants to sue because they slipped on a banana peel, then it's State Farm's problem, not yours.
