Hello, @Damequia Montgomery - the best thing you can do is to read the Getting Started guide here on BP.https://www.biggerpockets.com/...Unless you have access to capital out of the gate or understand creative finance strategies (unlikely for a beginner, no offense), you'll probably want to start wholesaling -- that's how I closed my first few deals before securing private money and proceeding to flips for the next 10+ years and beyond.

Frontline (which I've had for 5 years) just booted me because my house is 20 years old with a 5 year old roof and hurricane windows and doors PLUS hurricane shades.  

This is not to say what you did was right, but it also is not the great offense that is implied by many who are unfamiliar with this market.Statewide ADU rules allow ADUs to be added to virtually every lot zoned SFH.

That might be one source of funds.Personally I think it would be pretty hard to raise money for fix and flip fund and would be hard for me to invest with one.....as an investor...here's what is going thru my head...may or may not be true with you...so no offense, but this is what goes thru my head.Here comes a guy who wants to raise money, (so he doesn't have money) on fix and flips...which is probably pretty tough and getting tougher in this market.
