I was thinking tackling the big things first like plumbing, electrical and Hvac.

We are about to acquire another destressed multifamily , but won’t be able to tackle the project for a few months.

Thanks for having the heart to tackle affordable housing issues, just make sure you go into it eyes wide open and with realistic expectations.

I have been doing this for 25+ years and I doubt I would tackle a project like this. 

If there is anything I can help them with I will tackle it head on. 

He's newer to the area but has a background as a general Contractor as well and has worked enough investment projects to be able to know which are worth tackling and how much they'll cost.

This time around I plan to tackle this one with a better approach and more knowledgable to help minimize some of the heart aches and mistakes that come with being a landlord (been there done that).

If they've got the manpower and machinery to tackle the job quickly, I'd definitely say it's worth the cost. 

I do not know if this is a route I will end up taking  but these properties appear too small for most people/companies with the necessary experience to be interested, and too big/daunting for newbies to want to tackle.  

Thought I'd turn the BP community and seek any advice before tackling this.
