Italy freezing mortgages and commercial activities would be quite a situation for our industry if that happened here.

My boiler burst this winter during one of the cold freezes.

Several times she wouldn't show up to her Housing Authority meetings/inspections and payment was freezed.

Im in Durham, NC, so we dont have the freezing winters but still, Im not sure how many people are moving then. 

I am not predicting by any means another 08 credit freeze.. but I think we need to keep that in the back of our minds..

If one tenants kids have a water balloon fight in January and the walk freezes and another tenant slips, then yup you can be sued.

(They winterized the pipes and such and then let the house stay unheated, attempting to freeze and starve them).

Also, have a clause in your lease that tenant is responsible for pipes freezing up!

CA (Bay Area) has weird times where it is hot one day, and freezing and super windy in the low 50s the next.

Idaho, we liked some of it but we don't like places that get super cold and have to deal with those issues of heavy freezes and snow removal since we do not have any experience with those types of issues to even know what to look out for.
