If your looking to jump into wholesaling which most new people are, the best piece of advice I can give you is to brush up on your sales and marketing skills.

There might also be the fire hazard due to weeds or having brush and trees close to your house, which might affect the cost of your fire insurance.  

I purchased in a growing area and turned the back yard brush into a back yard oasis.

.- Brushed nickel fixtures (or something similar) - light fixtures, faucets, etc.- Brushed nickel knobs/handles (or something similar.)- If you have a couple bucks left in the budget, get new (and when I say new, I mean on sale/refurbished/wholesale) stainless steel appliances.

Brush you can clear.

Instead of brushing it off and doubting, you would be wise to follow this advice as Jay has lost more money on real estate than most will ever make, and he is still crushing it. 

For painting the vinyl, would spraying or brushing/rolling be recommended?

It isn’t static for very long.

After reading what I posted I see how it comes across as dismissive and paints the profession with a broad brush.

There are also excellent podcasts in nearly every category and they're update regularly which is great because real estate is dynamic and not static.
