@Bill Fried what's your rent to value criteria?

The mold and mildew was throughout the rooms of the house.At some point, someone decided there was not enough ventilation and the "fix" was to close off the vent ducts, lay plastic on the ground, and install dehumidifiers.

@Matthew Irish-Jones I think about it every time a capacitor blows or an ant fries a contact, but the hvac supply houses sell only to the trade.

Clays shrink and swell depending on their moisture content/plasticity and you don't want your foundations to do the same.
