I love real estate, but won't ever buy a rental again.

Suburbs are getting more interesting and further from the city are no lack of bproughs and towns with charm and renewed interest due to Covid.

Then I eventually remembered that I love real estate, not bookkeeping or accounting!

Folks like @Brian Burke are a perfect example.As for me, I am a full time developer, investor, and general contractor (I wear lots of hats right now) and I love real estate!

When I listed it to sell, I included photos of old door knobs, lead glass windows, crown moldings etc which is what I look for in an investment property in Milwaukee, the old world charm with contemporary kitchen upgrades sets the unit apart from other rentals, because of this and the size of these units 1800 SQFT each, we were able to increase the rents significantly.

I don't mean to be cynical, if you love real estate, I'd just suggest you chase higher $$$ properties so that you get rewarded for your efforts.
