Or else reduce enough on price to deal with an eviction from an illegal unit.I don't know Chicago laws, but in NYC if you have an illegal unit, the tenant occupying it seems to have more rights than the owner does and doesn't have to pay rent... 

Most banks allow you to export the full year of activity to excel.If you are not comfortable using excel - you should reach out to your accountant if he/she has a bookkeeper on staff and how much it would cost them to do your books.It may be cheaper overall for your accountant to do it if you just need the books to be done once a year instead of on a monthly basis.Furthermore, this saves you from having to pay for the software.

In most cases I have to pay out of pocket every month because rents are not high enough or the property is too expensive.

Also what is working today does not mean it’s going to work in a year from now - people can ask multifamily and others how that has worked out for them the past two yearsResidential in my mind is going to see some shifts which I see a lot of bad financing “not creative” that they think is creative and it will come back to haunt people

but if you are just looking for a use that requires minimal investment, your hosting of farmers markets etc is where my mind goes also. 

All these statutes supercede any written contract between landlord and tenant.Now, if they stop paying, then you do not have the restrictions above. 

We are paying 5k rent for a 4 bedroom single family house.
