What makes you stand out from the competitors?  

tread lightly w/ the boss discussion.... more so if you're going to show the card that you're looking at leaving to a competitor.

I mean mercilessly crush kill annihilate disintegrate your competitors! 

If someone were to try to tell me I was paying a higher rent than my neighbors because there was a new roof but the apartment is just the same as the competitors...you can bet I'd run!

Specifically, it was insane to think that one of Amazon's competitors would allow them to serve as their IT department. 

But, of course, I hope that people understand that it means that you should not tell your competitors your secrets reasons why you are successful.

L&L did my home at almost half the cost of the competitors in the market.

I've outbid competitors by several thousand dollars in the past.

There is also a company called Turo ( formerly Relayrides ) which allows one to rent out cars but it's not for ridesharing you may have heard of it It's more a competitor of traditional car rental companies. 

It is widely practiced but that general assumption without some work on the finite numbers might price you out if you don't costs to manage with if you do better than the competitor, you can execute better.Crunch the IRR.
