Try to stay away from adding a row of similarly sized and shaped shrubs along the foundation - it's already quite boxy so you want to use landscaping to create a little visual interest with heights, shapes and colours.

If you set the tile at a 45-degree angle, that also eliminates the visual oddity of a line between tiles starting out close to the wall on one side of the room and ending up farther away from the wall because the room is not square.
