It was a very good experience as I was able to listen to jazz musicians practicing from the balcony.

I just had a young artsy couple break a lease in Midway Park because Mom bought them a house 6 streets away, and one of their musician friends signed a lease and moved in the next day.When I was buying, I shyed away from anything too close to Glenwood (on the north side) and east of Candler. 

Just like Sedona, Joshua tree has its spiritual creative mystic of beautiful scenery sunsets solitude etc Popular series like Entourage and musicians like Dave Grohl and many other artists have popularized the area  Being so close to LA and rich leftover hippies with a high dose of legal weed make it a pretty cool spot
