But there is always some risk we have to bear to do business.

Every Google answer I found was it shouldn’t be done because it can contaminate the soils and groundwater.

Some of it may have almost no bearing on my potential investment property.

E.g. fire rated construction requirements on main homes, survey & soils reports, utility upgrades.
