You’d be shocked by how little actual screening many PMC’s do!

Logging into bigger pockets and seeing my positive outlook and then calling them and finding out that it was $8000 at the time, just to begin learning was a shock to me and I did not move forward with it, especially knowing that they were going to take 50% of each deal I did.

We who know John were more than shocked that he had “joined the dark side”.

Now of course new investors in the new deals of these companies may want to actually read the offering memorandums and understand them before investing.. ( I am 100% convinced that many really never do read them or understand them and then are shocked when the company follows what is allowed in the offering memo).

PS - Commission rates were and are always negotiable, its a misconception that ONLY 6% could be charged or that it could no longer be charged  -- I wouldn't be shocked to still see 6% commission rates moving forward.
