It seems ridiculous to me that the landlord would be punished for renting to illegals if the state gives them a drivers license.If they don't issue a driver's license without a green card, wouldn't possesion of a driver's license prove that they're legal and you wouldn't need to check for a green card?

I stay calm and just present my copy of the writ and agree to do whatever the police want as it is up to the judge to punish those "officers of the court" that refuse to comply with his order.

This is crazy, BUT if I can make money with the loan I would otherwise miss out on I will look at it as a cost of doing business and a punishment for bad decisions.
