The city of Everett has big plans to spend $635M over the next few years for a new hotel, new shopping center, new restaurants, 3.5 miles of walking/biking trails, 2 new waterfront parks (one with paddle board rentals), 4 new puget sound viewpoints, an outdoor performing arts venue and 400,000 sq ft of new office space.

I took up fishing over the last year, have a kayak/paddle board hybrid, and I'm seriously thinking about a boat for when COVID 20 hits, since they didn't close the boat ramps in my part of FL.

Biggest risk is the complaints from neighbors about the noise, although I've heard that there are new paddles that dampen the noise quite a bit?

Obviously if your lease doesn't have a late fee clause, you may be up a creek without a paddle, but maybe a good lesson for next time as well.
