Many people are shifting to the financial side of real estate investing like private money lending, owner financing, tax lien investing, or note investing (non-performing and performing alike.) 

So far, I find that wholesalers, brokers and agents alike all been able to do well some better than others.

I want to network with fellow a like-minded people in the business.

Both programs are great programs for investors and first time buyers alike. 

Needless to say I immediately immersed myself in research (really I geeked out for a minute on podcasts and blogs) about real estate and met a like-minded individual with experience to partner with and started doing it myself.

I can easily get that here in the US without the political and currency risk.Now if you could show I would have 10% yield with a likely 100% valuation pop in a couple years, that gets more interesting.

She has helped me figure out the best types of insurance for rentals and flips alike, including unusual situations and is almost always the least expensive to boot. 

@Roland Brown Unless you have an immense amount of capital living solely off of your rental income in 5-7 years is not a likely scenario.
