I think Gino meant that if you get sued personally and your LP interests are in an LLC, it would be more difficult for them to go after your LP interests. 

They are not meant to be long term financing.

I guess by “checklist” I meant just the next steps to transition my primary into a rental.

I want to move her to a yearly or bi-yearly lease so that is what I meant by saying I am waiting to get a lease setup.

@Tadas Bendaravicius  what I meant by if you have to replace one window you have to replace them all is that it is unlikely they painted only one window in a house with lead paint.
