The front porch wall sconces were too round, the boarder for the flower planter should be made of the original brick from the home and not stone, and the list goes on.

PS I've found leaving a bouquet of flowers on the bed ($6 at trader Joe's ) is one of the most mentioned highlights of my reviews.The obvious downside has everyone points out, is that you're only one vote away, whether that be HOA or city council, from being obsolete.

Landscaping is a good example - we eliminate flower beds, anything that needs regual maintenance, often remove some of the trees (think leaves), favor evergreens over seasonal plants, boxwoods and globular arbs are our favorite for along the front and mulch beds get replaced by stone.
