Panelists were seasoned pros, very helpful and I was surprised by the level of experience amongst the attendees. 

Boils down to experience.

Not having the proper experience and knowledge could cost you a friendship and is a huge liability risk for your friend. 

Their proforma numbers include their own experience in the market when defining their goals of the value-added strategy.  

I do t have long term experience with them yet but They have a good track record and seem to really have it together from my experience.
