I made an Excel spreadsheet and color code the ones that are higher in the red or orange colors, and low balances in green.

A faux wood look with an almost black or dark grey siding would help distract the eye.But, all of this costs money, and typically beyond some cleanup and fresh paint, on a rental is the best bang for your buck.

having an incredible onsite manager, adding colorful flowers to perk up the curb appeal, paint the windo shutters to make them pop and renovate the interiors.

The Honeywell 9000 color touchscreen thermostats are very user friendly and have 2 different levels of locking the controls.I recommend these over any other thermostat. 

It casts a dark shadow on an already struggling industry and opens the doors for more reform and regulation. 

I just think the coloring is nicer, same exact layout and materials.

STR in those areas do well year round because of fall colors and ski resorts and snow mobiling if they are on a lake, but on the flip side you are paying significant more because they serve dual purpose.  

A good painter can Spray pretty good if he has the proper tip , good quality paint, and at least 100 jobs done prior to yours.So many factors involved,  are you protecting the flooring,  changing colors a lot lots of repairs done prior?
