I consider myself a cautious investor in general (I don't buy crypto, etc) yet I did a risky move buying a Class C property that's 2000 away. 

You don't need a special understanding of securities to understand this.What you are discussing is crypto. 

I would pay off or free up the monthly furniture, water softener, and crypto.

There is a little science behind the up front processing to avoid UW issues.At the end of the day Vacation homes can still be rented out so it offers a 2 sided coin. 

The cost wasn't bad - under $500 (for this job, supplies and to add a light above the coin-op dryer in the basement - I love my electrician). 

The fact is, there are a lot of investors in STR who are not seeing any returns and on the flip side of the coin, an equal percentage of investors are killing it.

People tend to only highlight one side of that coin. 

We can probably afford the new SFR in 2-5 years after selling my primary home.2) Invest aggressively into crypto, syndication, private fund, RE, etc., and potentially delay the SFR purchase plan according to the status of the investment.It's a hard decision to make since the economy this year is a bit flaky.
