Hey @LaShanti Penn      I would suggest connecting with more local investors and maybe joining the local Charlotte chapter on the North Carolina Real Estate Investor Association.

Come out to a CFRI meeting (Central Florida Realty Investors), the local chapter of the National REIA.

Your best bet is to find your local REIA chapter and join.

So let's say odd months (September) Joint meet up in Yokohama and even months, the Yokosuka chapter meets in Yokosuka and the Tokyo chapter in Tokyo.You just don't know how excited I am about having a chance to meet.Thank you for the half way idea!

There are lots of ways to find properties:- Buy stuff that's listed on the MLS- Auctions- Direct mail marketing- Advertising- Knock on doors and talk to potential sellers- Facebook advertising- Craigslist "For Sale"- Etc...I spend an entire chapter talking about acquisition strategies in "The Book on Flipping Houses" -- check it out for more details...
