Primarily looking for a cabin in the cascades. 

August consumer sales numbers were out yesterday, and those were down.Once small businesses start folding, there's a cascading effect.

When the stocks moved down 10%, it was a never ending cascade of sell orders.  

@Steve Haight  I grew up in the Day's of Boise Cascade doing all their CA Huge tracks.I knew some guys that sold NV desert but not well.you also had Jeff Dennis's R ranch's a time share of a Dude ranch...

I don't know if you've heard of cascade financial?

We have a maximum  12" freeze depth here in the rainy western part of the state, so most utilities are not as deep in Western Wa. as they are on your side of the Cascade Range. 

Minji Wu I am in the same bucket as you, being on the west side of the cascades and am excited to learn more about the Spokane market.

Most likely it will be a political or foreign entanglement, rather than an economic issue that starts the lack of new buyer confidence cascade.

So unless you have a situation like what happened in PHX in 08 were you have MASSIVE vacancies and same with Vegas you had prices crash along with retail homeowners with purchase money loans ( no deficiency judgement allowed) it became a cascade effect..knew buyers the last decade are in my mind more educated ( thanks BP)  locked in historic low rates   and had to actually qualify for their loans.. 

Unless you have been a small business and owned your own company and have used a business bank before.I started with my bank and banker 24 years ago with a simple 100k line of credit to buy standing Timber in Oregon.. it was a hybrid model that not many small business would get.. very common for Werehouser or Williamette industries or Boise Cascade or LP or GP. but for private guys..
