In their favor:As homeowners and landlords they should be more reasonable and take better care of the place.Steady income with SSI and willing to hustle when they need more.They are motivated to make it work, offering more and reasonable concessions.If there is no carpet there would be less impact by dog or bed bugs, if either go worst case scenario.Not in their favor:They may be renting as a temporary situation until they can find where they really want to live long term, so they may not be a long term tenant.They are not familiar with the neighborhood, other than school district quality, so they may not be a long term tenant.What I would look at more:How long have they all lived at previous addresses?

2) Does old carpet bring the house value down?

Roof, windows, landscaping, carpets, paint job.  

Hauled out the trash, stripped the carpets, kilzed everything.

My actual room is littered with dead bugs, and instead of a carpet that shows in the pictures, there's veneer wood flooring, which no one notified me about, and there are no updated pictures for.

These machines would likely cost millions of dollars, and it is unlikely they could handle the more intricate tasks of finishing the houses… think carpet, showers, stoves, air conditioners, garage doors and their openers, screened porches, and the list goes on.Just my 2 cents All the best!

I'd like to install the standard Allure luxury vinyl planking (with an adhesive grip on two ends) in an upstairs unit of a fourplex in which I took out carpet. 

Construction materials: Frame, no basement, roof: asphalt shingles, Floor: Carpet on stairs and bedrooms, LVP: Kitchen and living room.

We have about 1,000 square feet of carpeted floor that we'd like to convert to tile.  

Weird statistic.Yes we allow up to 2 dogs at one place, but don't allow pets at our PF cabin due to all the carpet.
