As i said earlier ,ask a lender what the closing costs will be , some of them may be static (IE $500 for appraisal , $400 for processing , $300 for underwriting) So in that case its not a %.

YouTube and Google are your best friends when you get stuck.Painting and clean up are the easiest, followed by drywall and tiling (drywall requires a lot of patience due to having to use multiple coats of mud), and then comes plumbing and electrical.Get the right tools for the job - a good cordless drill and saw, trowels, paint brushes, etc. the extra few dollars will save you a lot in trips to the store and lost time.

Some of it is seeping through the block (which is porous) and getting the basement wet, and the rest is just creating static pressure against the exterior foundation wall and causing it to bow and crack.The key is to get the water away from the foundation wall and keep it out of the basement.
