I was always under the assumption that the interest portion of each note was classified as regular income.  

So if one lender wants to classify it as an investment property, you may still want to try it with another lender.

Good info, it sounds like I will need to be careful to segregate the Depreciation recapture which would probably be classified as "ordinary income"  I have an inquiry out to the Belpointe PREP OZ fund to get all the details. 

Not a tax advisor, but another method is to classify your personal purchases as capital contributions to the business.
