I've often wondered if there would be a viable vacation rental market in Temecula wine country or Lake Elsinor, or if they are not mainstream enough yet.

@Jose Guevarra  OK makes a big difference ... in those areas homes are dime a dozen in the major D and C class areas.. and they are the price of a great bottle of wine in many cases... so I can see the guys point....

Not a bad idea, maybe Ill invite everyone from this thread to my backyard when i get the patio build done this summer :-)  Or someone @Ryan Arth ;-) could organize an informal akron BP meetup at the Mustard Seed Highland Square, mezzenaine, indoor-outdoor options ... coffee wine beer organic vegetable juices something for everyone 

We did keep it and converted it into a wine celler for the buyers.

Don't get me wrong, if I had my way, I would be buying apartment buildings and all the duplex's and triplex's I could get into in Southern California's wine country, just not savvy enough to recognize or structure those deals and make them happen.
