I’m intrigued by the recent movement in short term rental arbitrage, both from a landlord perspective (marketing and renting to folks looking to conduct short term rental arbitrage) and from an arbiter perspective.

I don't have any idea of what I should be looking at to predict the market, though it looks like the gobbling up of foreclosures is the movement towards the equilibrium, and inflows into the system, clearing up a lot of the bad debt.

In a case like that, I'd say they weren't on board with the movement to start with.However, I have a PASSION for real estate and a burning desire to build an empire of properties and I would still plow my money into real estate even if other alternatives offered better returns in the near term. 

We have seen movement in properties in all areas of the city.

@Jessica Schenk If you can, try and practice the lifestyle of the FIRE movement, or financial independence, retire early.

We have (with @Seth Nowak) started a Green Apartment Network in our area to really get this movement going.

Very bizarre.Real estate would not make instant rich as real estate is actually just following market movement.

Is there good rental movement going on?

I have always desired to help in my community but it scares me to this day,  there is some movement in portions of suppressed area but the comps are just not there.  

It shows that people have a real dedication to the area and where there seems to be a movement to bring in investors and change the area.
