Has anyone experienced difficulty with Finding Section 8 Voucher tenants since the new political administration?

For HUD-VASH (the VA run program to help vets with Section 8 vouchers), the paperwork and standard of unit is virtually identical, but with the added support of your tenant having an assigned social worker who regularly visits them at their home, and occasionally will bring in other service providers if needed. 2+ Bedroom units tend to be in much lower demand for HUDVASH though, so bear that in mind if you're purchasing an SFR. 

Also, I am a big fan of government housing vouchers.

With Class C, some of the tenants you get have section 8 vouchers which is good because you get guaranteed rent (but managing section 8 tenants is a whole separate topic altogether)4.

I did have the police call regarding a voucher that looks like a check that was cashed by a check cashing company for 500.00. 

Its also worth seeing whether your area has a short waitlist for a Section 8 voucher for her (assuming your rents are low enough for her to use it at her current residence at the rent you'd like to charge). 

Think about it: when you see a lot of African Americans are on section 8 voucher program, do you generalize and say "All blacks are lazy"? 

My favorite one gives the voucher holder their own bedroom, then puts kids under 10 two per bedroom and separates the sexes of anyone over 10, with a max of two per bedroom.  

I have no way of knowing but if I was betting I would bet  single mother many kids no father figure house trashed when they left.. they take their voucher and go to the next Turn key house that just has gotten rehabbed and do it all over again.. vicious circle..  

I would suggest the best way to maximize profitability though is to rent them out to DC housing voucher holders.
