I know to look at comparable sales to see what style is acceptable etc, but just wondering if there is a good comprehensive resource that I can look at when I'm doing rehabs in the 100000 to $200,000 range for design options.

@Tyson ThurmanDavid Greene wrote a pretty good book called Long Distance Real Estate Investing.Also when looking into a market look up that city's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report- if you scan through them it will let you know about things such as job growth, population growth, etc.
