Lets say you buy used lumber in WY using your LLCs money and ship it to the foreign state and they build a building that collapses because the used wood you bought was rotten they can still go after you.

So, in my view it seems they are unloading properties they shouldn't have bought in the first place (or should have had more info about).As a local realtor who works with investors from all over I will say this.

Dude had it as excess from a commercial job and wanted to unload it.Finding the right labor pool in a town of 2,500 has been extraordinarily challenging.  

Your best bet to get foreclosures before they hit the market is to develop relationships with very small local banks or credit unions who are looking to unload foreclosures on notes that they hold.Dealing with the bigger banks is one big rabbit hole that will lead nowhere.

I have rented down there before and have a general idea, but it seems to vary widely and I am concerned that with sale prices so low, all the folks with houses they can't unload will flood the market with cheap summer rentals for the next few years. 

China can follow by unloading $1T T-bills and bonds by disrupting deficit process.
