I would like to get a buyer for the lot lined up before we pull the trigger, but not sure how to get in touch with builders/developers who might be interested.

I run into so many people that spend months or even years thinking and talking about investing, but never pull the trigger.

The numbers look a little loose, I might scrutinize them a bit more before I pull the trigger, but it could be solid.

In other words, you can find potential BRRRR deals, but you'll want to make sure you have the right game plan in place before you pull the trigger.  

I know when the borrower transfers the deed it triggers the Due-on-Sale Clause.

Anyways, I know within roughly 2-3 years I will be looking at markets outside of CA to invest in, however, I would like to get a start in researching now and going down the path so that when I have sufficient funds I will be able to "pull the trigger".

So I've been researching real estate investing for a year and finally deciding to pull the trigger.

As far as the REI meetups, I've looked into it and considered joining but just haven't pulled the trigger yet.
