Our local inspector had no problem with aluminum wiring, but each area is different.The concern with aluminum wiring is that it oxidizes over time and can cause bad connections and heat...and then possibly fire.

@John Vietmeyer We have them in our primary residence. (1 GSP and 2 labs) They are durable and resistant to scratches, we also picked the ones with a greywash to help hide any scratches from the dogs.I don't recall if ours is 6.3mm thick, but the original padding that was underneath made the flooring sound hollow, so we replaced it with a thicker pad and it solved the issue.

Now my relative's situation has also shifted and they need to get their funds out and back into a different project asap.I've never worked with hard money/bridge lenders, however, it's hard for me to resist taking on the opportunity- holding it would be amazing because there just aren't many assets like this in our small downtown.
