We've ALL heard that if you are a full time real estate entrepreneur you can offset a large amount, if not all, of your tax liability by investing in real estate and selling it at the same time (or other activates that involve over 750+ hours of acting in a real estate capacity)Well this is my first year doing that and I would love to hear how it's working for a more seasoned real estate professional using this tax strategy.

You remind me of my own 5 children who are all successful entrepreneurs and never came home after going off to college.But as I've answered on other comments on this thread, at 70 and 64 yrs old respectively I'm not to keen on placing money in areas that require lots of busy work and hands on management. 

With that in mind, prepare a defense in depth against getting shafted for the rest of it.Such a defense usually means opening up other employment options than "real estate entrepreneur," and most them will involve getting a college degree in something that will both give you a steady income and hopefully also set you on a course of lifelong reading and learning.

Investor, wholesaler, entrepreneur?

I understand the concerns, and as entrepreneurs and investors, we understand the benefit of building relationships.

Seattle has a lot of good entrepreneurs and very good companies ranging from Boeing, Amazon and Microsoft.

Like I'm sure a lot of us "entrepreneurs" though I always feel like i need to be IN CONTROL.
