Real estate investing is a great goal but if you stay in college there are so many minors or majors to enhance real estate.

Additionally, that is traditionally how we get into investing properties - we leverage our W-2 income to build a real estate portfolio that inherently enhances the level of income.So, if you were studying something like gender studies, perhaps dropping out was the wise move because you may not be able to leverage that type of education to get a good W-2 job.

The success stories forum is always fun to read...I love seeing people from BP enhancing their knowledge of REI and using it to be more successful.

I will add that I do see a divide in the Millineals where the more financially successful ones tend to spend less time on non-business related social mostly focusing on the use of social media to enhance their lives.

There are so many skills you could study that will enhance you to be a great real estate investor but do not have to touch on the subject of real estate (sales, marketing, accounting, psychology, etc).

Providing value for many of the bigger investors comes with helping them enhance their business, and you'll many times come in as essentially an apprentice! 

Having a pre-existing relationship with a U.S. bank will be very helpful, but if you don't have one already, you'll still need to go through the enhanced KYC process to get set up.
